Annie was my grandmother. She came to America on a steamship called the State of Nebraska from Lithuania (via Amsterdam). I know she lived in Salem, Massachusetts for a time and had a relative there named Joseph Baltimore. Annie died in 1948, before I was born. Any info. on the Salem branch of this family would be appreciated.

My father's name was Abe Baltim..He said that he shortened it when he became a teenager. After WW1 he went back to Lithuania to find relatives but he didn't find any. He came to this country in 1904 witha step-father and used his name until he got older. The family settled outside Boston. Relatives?
