I have always been told the Below name was German.I have only been able to go back to 1747 and Iknow they had to come from somewhere but unless they swam Idont know how they got to Ky.I would sure like some help.Thanks.

john Pleasent[Jack] was my ggrandfather and all the data in geneologies have him single no children.He lived in Union Co. Ky married Mary Ellen Strait and they had Almander,James,Wm.Thomas,and Douglas.Any help you can give me about them will be helpful. Thank you.

does anyone have any info on Phill Below? Grandmother told great stories about him.Ran away when a young boy to live with the Indians and returned seldom to Ky.Would love to know more about him.

My grandmother's name was Wilhelmine Luepke a sister of Bertha Luepke. the one who married Fred Below. Please tell me who the 10 kids are and when and where Fred and Bertha got married. Also, death info if you can. Thanks!

Charlotte Kasahn Buelow was my g-grandmother and I would love to see any info. you have on the family (either Buelow or Kasahn). They have proved to be particularly elusive here in Wisconsin. I can find nothing on Anton Buelow, Charlotte's husband. Anything you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Mary Below was my great-grandmother. I do have a little information her parents, Charlotte and Anton.
They are listed in the 1880 census and the 1900 census as living in Liberty Twp, Outagamie County, WI. In the 1900 census, they listed their immigration year as 1862.
I have transcribed church records of their births in Neustettin, Prussia also. LDS has them on microfilm, I can give you dates and film numbers if you want to contact me directly.

My g-grandmother was Charlotte Kasahn who married Anton Buelow. My grandmother was their daughter, Mary. I would love to hear from you about any information you might have about the Kasahn family or the Buelows. I have not had a great deal of success in tracing them. Do you know what year they came to America or what ship, by any chance? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Luepke family fromStettin,Pomernia(Pomern Germany)

I am looking for any information regarding Luepke family living on a farm near Stettin. Stettin was the capitol of Pomernia, which was aprovince in Prussia.Stettin is now in Poland and is now Szczecin. There were 8 Luepke brothers born here. The names are Carl F.W. Luepke born Dec. 26, 1845 who married Wilhelmina Neubaur in 1872. Carl came to America in1881. Wilhelm Luepke was born March 3, 1849 and came to American in 1878. Martin changed his spelling to Leupke was born Nov 4, 1857 and came to America in 1880. The other brothers names were Franz(Frank) Luepke, August Luepke, Gustav Luepke, Ernst Luepke and Herman Luepke. It is believed that they remained in Germany, but we do not know for sure. If anyone has any information I would appreciate hearing from you.

Hello, I think we may have a connection. ..your family has a son August who married Anna Tech in 1902. She was a daughter of Julius and Bertha(Gomall) Tech. His parents were the emmigrants in 1856 to Manitowoc, Wi, and they were Ferdiand and Caroline (Kaems) Tech. Caroline's parents were Karl and Henriette (Dettman/ Detmar) Kaems who were on the same ship as the Techs.. The mother of August, Charlotta, lived with his family in 1910 census in Liberty Twp. Wi. Let's talk.

My husband and siblings have never had any connection with relatives and only remember that their father once mentioned a sister. Charles A Harrison nee Below was born in April of 1893 in Buffalo? N.Y. and his mother's name was Elizabeth Schultze.

Something happened and my father ended up in Kansas raised by a family named Harrison. Looking for descendants of Charles (Carl) Below and Elizabeth (Schultze) Below from Brooklyn, NY.

My g-g-grandmother was Dorathea (Dora) Pinneke (or Pinnecke), born 1853, and emigrated from Germany in 1871.

Dora married unk. Schoepf/Schoepff, Frederick Below and Samuel Pudell, having children by each husband. She lived in South Dakota with F Below and S Pudell. Dora had a total of 8 children, 6 of whom were living in 1900: Mary Schoepf b 1880 (my great-grandmother); Augusta Below,b 1888 or 1889; Edward Below, b 1891; Henry Pudell, b 1894; Gustav Pudell (birthdate unknown).

There is a record in Union Co. Ky. Courthouse where permission was given by John P. and Mercy for a sister to be married. That's where I got the name Mercy, though it's not very legible. I'm working from memory but Ido remember that both sisters married Stones's.One married Robert Stone and I believe the other married William Stone.Give me a day or two and will go to courthouse and retrieve copies for you and I.
