I am researching the Bridger line of Penshurst/Chiddingstone. Does anybody have any connections with this branch. I have built up a bank of information already but am keen to flesh it out a bit. I am willing to share what I have found thus far. I am currently concentrating on the family of George Bridger (born abt. 1835 in Chiddingstone, Kent and died abt. 1912 registered in Sevenoaks) and Ann Aylward (born abt. 1834 born in Penshurst, Kent and died in 1900 registered in Sevenoaks).

My name is Celia Tyler (nee Bridger). I come through John Bridger (1824). He was the first of 13 children of Edward Bridger & Sarah Martin. Another of their children was George chr 13 Dec 1835 in Penshurst but I don't think he married.

On another branch I have a George chr 25 Jan 1835 in Penshurst! I believe he is the one married to Ann Aylward chr 24 Dec 1833 in Chiddingstone - the Marriage was 17 Mar 1855 in Chiddingstone, Kent.

I grew up in Gravesend, Kent but am currently living in the US and I would love to swap info with you when you have time.

Thus far I have found only 4 children of a marriage between a John Bridger and an Emma Russell. They were married abt June 1846. The names of the children I have are Alfred, Walter, Ellen and Annie.

I am descended from the line of George Bridger and Ann Aylward and have not had much success tracing the George Bridger who is the son of Edward (b. 1803).

Could you fill in any gaps here. I am happy to share.
