I would like to hear from any one with information on Bailey Bridwell's family. He was born in 1780 in Va and died on Dec 29, 1849, in Greene Co., Ind. He was married twice and had 7 children. Their names are Noah, Catherine, Fanny, Jane, George Abraham,Cynthia, Doctor and one we have no name for.

I am a descendent od Bailey Bridwell thru his son George Abraham. Here is what i have learned about Bailey"s Family back though what is beieved to be his ggggrandfather.
Thomas Bridwell born in 1620 in England and came to America in 1640. He had a son named Abraham, born in about 1650. He had a son also named Abraham born about 1680. He had a son named John, born around 1710 he is listed in the 1785 censes of Stafford Co., Va. he had 8 children one owhich was Simon Bridwell, born Aug 11,1757 in Stafford Co., Va. and died on Jan or Feb of 1838. He was married 1st to Elizabeth________, and 2nd to Susannah. Susannah is listed as his widow at his death. He his believed to be the father of Lydia Bridwell and Bailey.

I have know information on Baileys wives. I hope that this is of some help to you.

I am also a decendant of Abraham Bridwell. In fact it is my understanding that possibly all Bridwell's in the US is a decendant of Abraham. The Bailey Bridwell caught my eye, because my ancestor James H. Bridwell, Jr. married a Lucinda Bailey, dob 2/12/1862, died 2/29/1932. And connection between those two?
