I was interested in the info you have posted here in regards to william cane. I was wondering where abouts in Wales they were in 1891 i ask as william b 1833-1835 is my great great great grandfather. I have his marriage cert to jane hanies and it lists his father as william cane occupation sadler in 1857.
I would be very grateful for any light you may be able to shed on this as i am unable to go back further than williams father
Regards Mandy

I have been looking for my James Oscar CAIN/CAIN who came from Wales to South Carolina around 1750. He was a hatter and the first location I have for him in South Carolina is Charleston.

I was wondering if there were any source records you might know on your side of the pond about CAIN/CANEs leaving Wales circa this timeframe.
