Do you have any information at all about whether Daniel had other children who may have settled in the colonies? My interest is in a Dempsey Carroll/Carrell in Duplin (which became Sampson Countyy, NC. He would be about the right age to have been a grandson of Daniel who died in Westmoreland County, VA in 1714. The story was often told in our family (as in most other Carroll families) that we were related to CC of Carrollton. I had decided it was a fairy tale, but who knows . . . ?
