Elsie Jane College (June 24, 1788 to August 27, 1873)

I am looking for information on my ggg grandmother Elsie Jane College (June 24, 1788 to August 27, 1873), who married my ggg grandfather, John Stotler, around 1829. The couple lived in or around Morgan County, VA/WV.

Specifically, I would like to know the date of her marriage and the names and birth, death, and marriage dates of Elsie Jane’s parents and grandparents. Earlier generations, if anyone has information on them, also would be appreciated.

I feel that the 'Fred College' that Anne and also Eileen Soto have mentioned is my Grandfather George Frederick Nicholson (called 'Fred') who went to Australia and changed his name to 'Colledge' (College?) his mothers maiden name!.

Hello Eileen, I have reason to believe the Fred College in your query is my Grandfather (George) Frederick Nicholson who went to Australia and changed his name to 'Colle(d)ge which was his mothers maiden name, I would like to make contact with any descendants of his, I have a lot of info.previous to his leaving the uk. please contact me at ormellis@aol.com

My father's sister MARIANNE married Fred Nicholson. Fred's uncle was Frederick Nicholson who moved to NSW and changed his name to College. Hope that information helps.
