Children Michael, 1843,Ireland, Bridget b. 1849 Boston, Christopher b. 1850 Boston. Christopher's wife was Margaret adn they had children Helena b. 1879, Francis b. 1876 and Estelle b. 1885

My grandfather, Michael Conlon, was born in Ireland in 1842 (I think). I don't have any information on his parents, not even their names. My grandfather immigrated to the US in 1864 and was married in 1874 to Margaret Cooney. They had 8 children, I believe. My father, James, was one of those children.

Do you know when Michael immigrated ? Or is he had any siblings? Looking for a William Conlin born 1840 Ire, Immigrated 1850, most likely to Mass. Thanks, D. Conlin

According to the information I have, Michael immigrated in 1864. I don't know where he arrived but he ended up in Wisconsin. I don't know if he had any siblings. My uncle, William, was born in the US in 1873. I wish I had learned some of this info from my father but he died when I was 16 and it never occurred to me, of course. He was a quiet man and didn't talk much about his parents.

I am looking for my illusive g-grandfather, Francis Conlon. I do not know when he was born nor where. He married Katherine Peirano probably prior to 1898. They lived in NYC and had the following children:

They also had a daughter, Helen Mildred, who died in infancy. Do you think my Francis is the same as the one you have listed?

I believe I am related to Estelle b 1885. She married John Edwin McGrath b 1872 thought i am still trying to find more information about him and they had a son, Virgil Lee. She later married again to a Harry Kilburn I think. no children.
