Surnames: Cornwell, Mayhew
A picture of my ancestress Charlotte Cornwell's sister taken in Staunton, (Augusta Co.) Virginia about 1825-1830 It just says Charlotte's sister on the back. Young woman about 20-25.
Known sisters are Emaline Cornwell and Lucinda Cornwell.This was about the time their father Job Cornwell went bankrupt in Dutchess county NY and moved to Monroe county, NY
Was not aware there were relatives in Virginia !! Or was it on the Mayhew side?
