One daughter of Samuel Drinkwater was Martha Patsy Drinkwater, born 1790 in Abbeyville, SC and died July 1824 in Jefferson County, TN. She was my 3rd great grandmother. Martha was married to William Caughron, born 1774 in Abbeyville, SC and died September 1819 in Jefferson County, TN.

I am looking for information on Samuel and his wife, Nancy Turner.

Part of the information I have for William Caughron (birthdate, death date and place of death) was obtained from a cousin, Kermit Caughron, of Cades Cove, Blount County, TN. It had been compiled by Mrs. Hugh Emert of Maryville, TN. During an earlier visit to Cades Cove I spoke with Kermit about my grandparents and other relatives. He used to live in the home just before the Tipton House when exiting Cades Cove. I'm not sure if he is still living. Other information was obtained from Carolyn Lane whose cousin got it from (Latter Day Saints)LDS records.

I have a copy of Wm Caughorn's will. Do you have it?
