Re: Driscolls from Oswego NY
Hello Mary-
Just thought I'd say hello, as I have been doing a lot of research on Driscolls in Oswego in the past couple of years. All of my Driscoll family lived in the city from the time they came over from Co. Cork in 1845, and there are still a few there today.
Wondering if any member of your family has participated in the Driscoll DNA project? I'd be very curious to see if you were a genetic match to our family as there weren't all that many Driscolls there in the 1800s (and it seems like most of them were our cousins!).
I have built a Driscolls of Oswego website for our family, but have been having some technical difficulty getting it all up on the web. Hoping to get some assistance with that soon. Do you happen to have a tree up on Rootsweb or Ancestry.com? I have a lot of info on both, although it could use some updating.
Best,
Tara C. Maguire Knopick
