My M-I-L was an Eddy, (she was from Winston,Lawrence Co. Al.) I also have a good friend from the same general area who was an Eddy. We have made a feable attempt to look for info on this family but have not had much luck, how about you ?

Hi Pam, No I haven't had any luck. I found my GGGrandmother on the1860 winston census listed with her father Nicolos bro. and sisters Sarah,James,Nicholos,Samuel,Felix,Martha,George and Lethia. I found another Eddy family close by. I know my Grandmother came to Ok. and thats where she died in Fame,Ok. This is all I know about them On census it said Nichols Eddy came from Tenn. Sandy, My grandfather is Clildon Eddy from Tn. The son of Doke Eddy and Nora Petterson. I know the family came from Texas to Cullman, Al. but I haven't been able to trace it back any further. Can you help

I know he married Leitha alexander,and Sarah Peak. I'm trying to find out where he died and when.
