James O. ELY/ Dinsmore ELY in Winnetka, IL
Hi- I live in Land O' Lakes, WI where James O. Ely built a summer home around 1910. I know that he was a dentist in Winnetka, I know that he spent most of his summers up here between 1910 and his death in the late 1930s, and I know his son, Dinsmore was killed in action in WWI. If anyone has any more specific info on James or Dinsmore, then please let me know. This is an attempt to document Ely history in this community for a local history project. Thank you.
