Surnames: Ely, Canfield, Williams
I am researching my ggg-grandfather Abraham Ely b. 1788 in New Jersey according to family bible. He married Sarah b. 1792 in New York and they had: Lucretia b. 1818; Oliver b. 1820 (my ancestor); Mary Ann b. 1822; Susan b. 1824; Prudence b. 1827; and William b. 1832. Oliver m. Adeline Canfield. I have found info indicating a Joseph Ely b. 1752,and Susan Williams married and had: Henry; Moses Benjamin b. 1786; and Abraham. Family lived in Livingston, Essex, NJ. This is the right time period for my ancestor, but I have not been able to verify. Anyone out there who could help?
