John Eve was born in Chesterton, Cambridge, in England. He was transported to the USA for 7 years in 1756 for stealing lead from a house. He doesn't appear to have returned to the UK so I would like to know what happened to him.

If anyone knows, I would be very grateful to hear from them as I am a direct descendant. I think he may have been sent to Virginia, although I am by no means certain of this. He left a wife and children behind in the Uk and there are many descendants here in England to this day.
