Linda,
Do you have any reference to Falls siblings going to Quebec?
I have three siblings, James, Ann, Suzanne, who came from County Tyrone to Quebec. I'm not sure when they arrived but they were born between 1797 and 1803 in Ireland and were married in Quebec in 1831 and 1833. Their parents were James Falls and Margaret Kelly.
Thanks Cindy

I don't know the Quebec Falls line well. There was a James Falls living 1845 in Frampton quebec, Dorechester cty with a land grant; in 1871 St Edouard, Quebec James Falls Sr. was a farmer mentioned in the Lovell province of Quebec directory as well as an Alexander Falls living in St Johns Quebec 1891 as a grocer in the professional directory of Province of Quebec. Can you tell me the names of who they married? I might have a few more records amongst my papers on Quebec Falls. Do you know what part of Tyrone your Falls were from?

Linda, I made a mistake, there were 4 siblings not three. The FALLS Line from Quebec is as follows:
1) James FALLS m Margaret KELLY
all four of their children were born in Ireland
2) James FALLS m Mary FITZPATRICK Apr 23, 1833 in
Notre Dame Quebec
ended up in FRAMPTON Quebec
he was born 1797 and had 6 children
I am from this line, the same one you mentioned
2) Suzanne FALLS m Christopher NUGENT Nov 11, 1831
in Notre Dame Quebec
ended up in FRAMPTON Quebec
she had 7 children
2) Ann FALLS m Henry FEE Oct 1831 in Notre Dame
2) Mary FALLS m Christopher KENNEDY July 1831
I don't know where in Tyrone, Ireland they were from.
Cindy

I am presuming that your Falls are Catholic? The Catholic church does keep great records of births, marriages and deaths. I know that I saw a Quebec site that listed some Quebec Falls records. If I find it, I'll post it. Do you believe that your Falls relatives went to Ontario? There are quite a few Falls who are not related to my line in Wiarton as well as other places in Ontario.

The site that has the Quebe Falls is www.simmons.b2b2c.ca Eastern Townships and Quebec Genealogy See if that yields anything?

Yes, our Falls were Catholic and no, I don't know of any that came to Ontario.
I have tried that site before but none of the first names or spouses match. I have a fair amount on the lines that were in Frampton. Was just trying to find a connection back to Ireland.

My ancestry too, is from Ireland. I go back to a William Falls, who had an Alexander Falls, born abt 1806, possibly in Portrush, Antrim, and as far as I can make out, Alexander had, William Faul, Nancy Faull, John Faulls (mine) b. 1838, Margaret Faull and Mary Ann Fall. Any interest ?
