I am looking for info concerning the memorial marker located in NEW HOPE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH NEW CEMETERY -(1869) Orange county N.C.
A memorial marker was erected by descendants and family friends on August 23, 1942, to 38 men who served in the Revolutionary War. The names are listed in the regular listing; 7 of them were buried in the old Cemetery.
Does any one know if the people that erected this marker left any info on the people that are listed on marker One of the people listed was George Faucett who I believe to be a direct ancestor. Does any one know who the 7 men that were in the Revolutionary War and are buried in the old cemetery are???

I found a nine page document on NewHope Church, Orange County NC last night and found several Faucett's and other spellings listed. You might want to locate it The title is "The Craigs at New Hope" If you have any probmels locating it contact me jfield510@verizon.net. I'll be glad to try to backtrack how I found it. Lots of luck
