My father's half-sister Jenny (Tubman)Fitzgerald had twin sons in England before the war. Both sons were in the service. One was shot down over the English Channel. The other son Maurice Fitzgerald lived and married Elizabeth (don't know maiden name) and had 5 children I believe. We met Liz and Maurice at a family reunion in NJ possibly 10-15 yrs ago. We believe that Maurice has since passed away. He had a son who attended college in Calif when he was about 20. Would like to make contact with his other children if possible and perhaps Liz if she is still in Ireland. The last known address for them was Osmunda Torca Road Dalkey Co Dublin Ireland Any help would be appreciated and we'd love to have any of them visit.

Hi, I'm Maurice's eldest son - I almost went to Berkeley at 20 but stayed in Europe. My younger brother Michael says Liz and my youngest brother John visited the Tubman side in New Jersey some time ago. Did you see them?
Best regards,
Rex FitzGerald

If I remember correctly I stayed with Uncle Bill in the Summer of 1982...clean on clean...what a lovely gentleman...and so Florence I met you as well...it was july 4th...a weekend I remember well...As I write I am sitting beneath the photograph of Jenny Tubman/Fitzgerald...it is special to us as uncle Bill sent it home with me at the end of my stay...I am now living with Elizabeth as she gets older and slower...and as I write we are talking about the good contact that Harriet maintained with Maurice...were there 5 sisters originally...and Jenny was the only to stay in Ireland...and did I meet and elderly lady there in 1982 who would have been another sister...Can you tell us the names of your Aunts...
...anyhow I'm sure this is a first contact via a new media...
Best Wishes to all Clan Stateside
john
