William Fitzherbert Young of Begbroke

Seeking information on William Fitzherbert Young, born c. 1790 at Sydenham, Oxon. Son of William Young. Inherited Begbroke Hill Farm, Begbroke, Oxon, from his father who had inherited it from Elizabeth Taylor (nee Cockin), daughter of William Cockin and Jane Fitzherbert (a descendent of the Fitzherberts of Uphall etc)

His father was left the property due to him being a relation of Elizabeth and am trying to find out the connection.

Sarah and Joseph Wagstaff had at least 8 children. My great-grandfather was William. I don't know were any of them were buried.

Do you know when John and Elizabeth Harrison died and where they were buried? I found them last in the 1871 census in Roston.

Wow!! you made my Christmas - interested to hear about Sarah. Think Harriett must have been close to her and she named her daughter after her.

Their parents were John Harrison born c1795 and Elizabeth Bardell born c1795.

They married 11 March 1816 in Scropton, Derbyshire.
