My mother (Agnes Arkins) was from County
Cavan Ireland. I'd be interested in correspond-
ing with anyone who can trace their ancestors
back to that part of Ireland.

Robert, My Fitzpatricks came from Belterbet to America in the 1850's! There was James and Bridget (Reilly). Most of their children were born in Ireland. Thomas Fitzpatrick was the oldest, b 1820, then Phillip b. 1824, then James b. about 1825, then Catherine m. Edward Reilly in 1840s, then my gggrandmother Roseanne, m. Patrick Donoho in 1850 in NYC.I know they wrote family in Ireland for a while. Your Catherine was in the next generation I guess, but these people must have some pretty good ties.I am trying to find parents of James and Bridget Fitzpatrick. Let me know if you want to share more information. April Foster

Hi there, was reading your posting on the Fitzpatrick family. I am curious if there was a James Fitzpatrick who was a brother to Sarah Ann. Sarah Ann Fitzpatrick married a Daniel Lawler. They immigrated from Ireland and came to the us in around1850 or so. Does this ring any bells??? karen

Hi, I am trying to track down a great uncle who emigrated to US in late 1800's, called James. He visited Ireland once around 1923, and was resident at the time somewhere in Pennslyvania. I am a Fitzpatrick from Belturbet by the way, currently living in San Diego, CA.
