Thank you for your reply i appreciate all the advice i can get. I have since found out more info, My Nan (Mary Foley) was born in Brae, Dublin. We think she may have had a sister and the name Bridget has been mentioned in my family.
Mary left Ireland for Liverpool at quite a young age where she met my grandfather James Casey originally from Tipperary.
She fell pregnant out of wedlock and married my grandfather but believe this may have been why her family stopped talking to her?
