Hello:
I am looking for a lady who's fist two initials where L. A. Freeman. She took care of my GrGrandmother, when she was given up around 1866 in WI. Many years later, after my GrGrandmother divorced, she had this same lady take care of her youngest child. Who lived.
My GrGrandmother's name was Alice Asbury-Boyd.
Her daughter was Myrtle Boyd.
In a letter from my GrGrandmother, she states, that Myrtle went to live with Mrs. L.A. Freeman then living in, Aberdeen, SD.
Since I cannot get ahold of any more of the letters, I am not sure how soon, Mrs. Freeman left WI to move to SD.
But I do know that she was living there by Nov. 1891.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Help in solving this family mystery of ours.
Thanks,
Martha
