GRANVILLE – John Harry Granville, 57, of 46 Douglas St., Tonawanda, died Wednesday (March 29, 1961) in Roswell Park Memorial Institute after a brief illness. Born in Lockport, Mr. Granville resided in the Tonawandas for the past 25 years, and for many years was employed by the Rose Coal Co. before joining the O.C. Bucks Shows. His wife, Olive (nee Fix) died in 1956. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Michael Szepesi of Tonawanda, and three brothers, Forbes V. of Buffalo, Alexander D. of Lockport and Ansley C. Granville of Tonawanda. Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral Home Inc., 37 Adam St., Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Paul Smithson will officiate. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Park.
