My great grandfather, William GRIMSBY born Ireland 1825 to William GRIMSBY and Mary Ann RAY. Emigrated to Canada 1837 with an aunt who died on board ship. Arrived Halifax alone and travelled somehow to Kingston, Ontario to find his brother(s). No more info until 1859 when he married my great grandmother, Jane GALLAGHER.
