Bushrod W. Hamilton's parents and siblings.
He was born 1/24/1814,
Franklin County,
Vermont.
Married 1838 or 1839,
Calhoun or
Jersey County,
Illinois to Delphina
Moody, (Born 8/24/1820, Holyoot,
Massachusetts).
They came to
Oregon in 1851 by wagon train and settled a 320 acre Donation Land Claim by
Crabtree Creek in
Linn County,
Oregon.
They had 7 children. Four were born in
Jersey County,
Illinois,
Harriet, 1840; Lydia, 1843; Mary Ellen, 1845; Emma, 1850. Clarence M, born in
Grant County,
Wisconsin, 1847. Anna, ?; and Douglas, ? were both born in
Oregon.
Bushrod died July 12, 1891,
Linn County,
Oregon and is buried in Franklin
Butte Cemetery,
Linn County,
Oregon. Delphina died February, 12, 1903 and is also buried at Franklin
Butte Cemetery.
