I am researching the Hamilton name. My Grandmother Clara Hamilton Died in California in approx. 1903. She was born In Georgia, as were her parents, according to a census. I do not have a first name for her parents but found her in 1900 census and her 2 brothers Riley Clifford also were living with her and her family. Clara was born in Apr. 1880, Riley was born in Indian Territory in 1886, and Riley was born in Calif in 1891.Would appreciate any help you might have.
Thank you ,
Tammie Yeries

I have information on Hamilton's that were in GA in the early 1800's, could be that my Hamilton's were part of your Hamilton's family? They were in Carroll CO. GA, and Fayetteville, GA. Where were yours? Let me know if any of this interests you. I will send you what I have if you want it.

I have to wonder if there is a connection here with my AL Hamilton's, my Moncus family has married in with the Rice and the Hamilton family from AL. Have you checked with Steven Rice? His link is http://homepages.waymark.net/~srice/ This may not help or even be related to your research. Let me know what you think.

Hello,
Eliza Jane Hamilton married Francis "Frank"
Marion Rice. I didn't know he had a store.
I knew he was a farmer in Avery. My father
would be their grandson. If you have any
questions let me know

Sincerely,
Don Christensen

Hello,
I saw one of your posts. I have been trying
to locate some Hamiltons that tie in with the
Rice side of my family. My g-grandparents
were Francis Rice and Eliza Hamilton. They
lived in OK, but came through MO from Indiana.
I'd like to discuss this with you.

Sincerely,
Don Christensen
