Are you sure they were married in 1890?? My Grandfather John Hoagland wasn't born until 1903 and his father John C. Hoagland was killed in that bar room brawl until 1904-05. In 1920, Sarah, my Gr. Grandmother was married to David. I know she went up to Fresno to help Ruldoph Basquez take care of his 5 children after their mother LouBelle died.
That was in 1915. She took my grandfather, Flora, alice and Ed with her. They stayed there for a while. I think we're getting conflicting stories. ha! I barely remember Grandpa Harnden. I was 5/6 when he died. My Grandfather spoke highly of him. I guess I'm going to ask my Uncle Johnny to take me up to Aunt Flo's and check out the old trunk she has. It was to be given to my father, Billy Joe but he never had the chance to get it. Thanks for the info. I've have it all in my folder.

I had your grandfather & your ggrandfather mixed up. No I'm not sure when John C. and Sarah were married. I took the below information from one off our Harnden cousin's file. I'll check with him as to how he came about that marriage date.
