John and Robert Haxby were brothers and both born in Iowa to parents to were born in England. It appears the mother's name was Dorothy and she was born about 1827. John was born about 1849 and Robert 1852. John never married, but Robert married a lady named Amelia E. who was born in May 1870. The children born to Robert & Amelia were: William, b. 1887, Benjamin b. 1891, Esther b. 1893 and married Cecil Hamilton, Myrtle b. 1894, and Everett L. b. abt 1909 and married Mildred Fay McSween 11 Nov 1934. I found from an obituary index that Everett may have died in Tonawanda, Erie Co, NY in Sept 1965. I would appreciate hearing from anyone researching this family.
