In connection with your Herridge research. Hilda May Titcombe was my Mother, she lived in Reading all of her life. She died very suddenly at my home in Bracknell following her Christmas visit.

Hi everyone,
Has anyone on this forum done any research on the Headache's of Berkshire?

I ask as I have hit a brick wall at the top of my tree with Thomas Herridge bc1675 Bradfield who married an Elizabeth Sutton whereupon he disappears into a black hole!

The only other Thomas I can find on the IGI is one born c1671 to a Thomas Headach and Elizabeth Martin both of Pangbourne but married in Bradfield 06/03/1670 (with the surname spelt Headaghe on parish records!) This line then takes me back to Peeter Headache bc1565 of Pangbourne.

The variation in the surname is quite outstanding and reminds me of Kevin Herridge's piece of work 'Oh What a Headache!'

Any help greatly appreciated!

I am seeking confirmaton of the family of Elizabeth HERRIDGE b. 1776, Kingston. OXF; bpt. 13 12 1776, Hampstead Norreys, Berkshire. In 1794, she married William WEBB at Aston Rowant, OXF.

I believe Elizabeth's parents were Richard HERRIDGE and Sarah WELLS m. 18 10 1772 in Hampstead Norreys ... but having some difficulty in obtaining additional information (obviously not looking in the right spots!)

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any information on the above. He is 3rd child of John & Rosina (Rose) Herridge. The 1st James b1802 Wokingham married Elizabeth Rance. The 2nd Ann b1805 Wokingham married Francis Brant. Both are well known families in the Wokingham area.

I am researching the family of Fred Merryfield who was born in Bury, England and emigrated to the USA circa 1919. He married Mildred Berkley in 1927 and, for a time, they lived in North Carolina. Mildred was born and bred in Oregon and they spent most of their married lives in that State; Mildred died c1964.
In 1965 Fred married ANN and that's all I know. Fred died in.Corvallis, Benton, Oregon, on 20 Mar 1977

Herridge Family - Isle of Wight

I'm looking for any information on the Herridge Family from the Isle of Wight.
I have a John Herridge, born c1812 in Godshill. He married Sarah Sheath in 1833. His son was Alfred Tom Herridge, born 1850 in Ventnor. Alfred married Ann Burt in 1893.
Any information about any Herridge from the Isle of Wight, would be very much appreciated.

Hi! I am looking for information on my Great Grandmother Rosina Herridge who married Henry Daniel Small in Bristol in March 1873. My family always thought Rosina was born in Australia but actually she was born in Bristol, England. Perhaps her parents William Herridge and Ann Sight were from Austalia or Bristol, England. If anyone has information I would certainly appreciate it. There is a Rosina Herridge born in Australia in 1874 and if I recall correctly her parents were George Herridge and unkown. grandmother Florence Herridge, born
July 3 1886 somewhere in England. Her
father's name was Leonard Herridge, and he
was married to an Alexander (unknown first
name).

Florence married a Frank Morgan from Orkney
Islands, Scotland in 1904. They moved to
Oshawa, Ontario, Canada sometime after (or
before?) that.

Anybody recognize any of these people?
