Surnames: Hickey, O'Gorman
I have records of his marriage to Mary O'Gorman in Montreal,
Canada on November 4, 1844. They went to Cleveland Ohio then settled in Ottawa, Illinois. I have documented legal records from his service in the Civil War. He was a 1st LT.in company H, Mulligan's Brigade, 23rd Regiment of the Illinois Volunteer Infantry. He also went by the name of"John Shea". He died March 15, 1879 and is buried at St. Mary's Cathedral, Mt. Calvery Cemetary in San Francisco, CA, Dormitory No. 6. They had 2 sons, John Henry and Daniel both baptised at St. Columus Church, Ottawa, Illinois.
