I HAVE SENT FOR INFORMATION ON A THOMAS H. HORAN THINKING THAT IT WAS MY GREATGRAND FATHER. ALL OF THE DATES AND THINGS MATCHED EXCEPT WHEN I RECEIVED THEM THEY WERE FOR A THOMAS W HORAN WHO DIED ON THE SULTANA STEAMSHIP AFTER BEING RELEASED FROM ANDERSONVILLE. HIS MOTHER WAS ANNA OR HANNAH AND HIS DAD WAS THOMAS HUE HORAN, HE HAD A BROTHER AND 2 SISTERS IF ANYONE IS DESCENDED FROM THIS FAMILY OF HORANS OF INDIANA I WOULD GLADLY SEND YOU THESE COPIES. I'm not sure if there is any connection, however, my father called Hugh (Hubert) Horan was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1900. His morther's name was Hannah Horan and his father's name was Thomas Horan.

I have no further information on Thomas Horan, however I do have records of Hannah Horan up to the year 1906 when she mysteriously dissappeared.

Possible connections were Silvestor Horan and Elizabeth Robinson as these names appear on my father's Christening Certificate. Hannah Horan would have been born in 1877 and we think she came from the Tipperary County of Ireland.

hannah smith married Thomas Horan and his middle name was Hue. There were 3 other children but no names were mentioned.

I`m looking for info on a Thomas Horan born 1825/Ireland and died 1880/Indiana. He was married to a Hannah Young born 1830/Ireland[ no death date]. They had a son Benjamin and a daughter Mary/Molly. Still searching for more info but they resided in Indiana. Any help appreciated.
