HOSE/IRISH/PROPER

I'm looking for any information about my
Grandfather, Robert Hose. He married Grace
Irish Proper and they lived in Sleepy Eye,
Minnesota. My Grandfather owned a hardward
store; my Grandmother was a teacher.
He died when my father, Robert Haven Hose,
was about 6 years old (1921 or so). My
Grandmother, Grace Irish, was adopted at the
age of 2, when her Mother died, by the
Propers. The Propers may have been related
to my Grandmother's parents or just good
friends. Any information would be of great
