I am just starting my family research on my father's side. My grandmother's name was Annie Mae Hose, who married Perry Dallas Russ Sr. Annie Mae was born December 28th 1894 and is listed in the 1900 US federal census as living with her mother and father, John H. Hose and Annie E. Hose. They were married about 1884. The birth place of John H. Hose is Georgia Approximately 1857. I have found another John H. Hose in Houston County, Georgia but the est. birth date is 1860. If anyone has any information as to whether this is the same John H. Hose or not, I would greatly appreciate it. If it is the same John H. Hose, then I have information that would take me a long way back, but I have no absolute connection to the two and don't want to be barking up the wrong family tree.
