Hello - If you wouldn't mind I would like to see the family history for the Hotham's as well. Margaret Hotham (1825-1885) m: James Michael McDonough in Mars Hill, Aroostook, Maine. Her father, George Hotham (1795 - ) born in England was married to Elizabeth Milner or Mailner. I believe this George Hotham was the brother of John and Thomas Hotham that sailed on The Trafalgar. George is also my 4th Great Grandfather. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

She shows up on the 1930 Census of Blaine with the Scovil family - her husband - Harry; Father-in-Law - Ambrose; Mother-in-Law, Candelia or Cordelia. Hope this helps.

Sorry I have taken so long to reply I have only just seen your message. I am also looking for my fathers ancesters. My fathers uncle was called Edward Hotham. He lived in Hull but went to Ipswich in the 1940's. He had an aunty Louisa (Tot) Hotham whose married name was Pearson. She lived in De La Pole Ave, Anlaby Road, Hull but left in about 1930.

My grandmother was Olive Hotham and there were 4 brothers and 4 sisters in the family.
