I am looking for a John Kirker b: 1826 - I am told in Baden, Germany (no proof) married to Maria (Mary) Vigely/Vogely. They lived in Galveston, TX and are both buried in the Old Catholic Cemetery there (have proof from the arch diocese but was not able to locate their grave sites. John was buried Feb. 25, 1873

My wife was a Kirker and her cousin has done extensive research on the name,especially those from the Ontario(Brockville Cornwall areas). She is looking for descandants of ANN CORKER,who married WREN BEACH.She was born in IRELAND in 1844 and emigrated to CANADA in 1850 where she married WREN BEACH. Her father was HUGH CORKER born in 1802. Her mother was MARTHA WRIGHT born in 1814. She had brothers JAMES,WILLIAM AND ROBERT , AND sisters HANNAH and SARAH JANE.
My wifes' cousin is not on the internet,but any info i receive I will pass it on,and if you want I will provide an address.

Unable to find Elmer Kirker in PA mid 1800's should I maybe be looking for Kircher ? Could the name spelling have been changed to Kirker by someone spelling by sound ? Anyone else thought of this ? Grasping for straws.

Looking for any information re: William S Kirker b 1852 in Adams Co Ohio. m Clara Fleming with 3 children. d Nora is from our line.
We believe they may have left Adams Co for Illinois in the 1860's but returned at some point. Several well know Adams Co. families moved West during the Civil War and that may be why data is limited on William.

There were at least 2 different Kirker Families in Ohio. Who knows somewhere they may even connect. I am looking for my husband family, John Kirker Jane Parker in Belmont co, Ohio in the 1850 census. They came from near Belfast Ireland and were farmers. I am building a database on all the descendants to preserve it for future generations.
