Robert Knights
LAKE CITY-Robert Curtis Knights, 54, of Lake City died Saturday, June 23,
2007, at Shands Starke.
Born in Saginaw, Mich., Mr. Knights was a longtime resident of Lake
Butler before moving to Lake City. He retired from the Reception
Medical Center in Lake Butler in 2000 after 27 years of employment.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Knights is survived by: his wife, Kathy Knights of Lake City; a son, Sean
Crawford of Ft. White; a daughter, Amber Rhue of Starke; sisters,
JoAnn Davies, Sandy Vickers and Mary Miller, all of Starke; five
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by a brother, Jimmie Knights, in 1966.
Funeral services for Mr. Knights were June 26, 2007, in the chapel of
Archie Tanner Funeral Home of Starke with Brother Nathaniel Davis Sr.
officiating. Burial followed in Long Branch Cemetery.
