Surnames: Lawrence, Laurence
connie, i'm a laurence from dallas, tx. if we are related, then a change was made from "w" to "u." i don't have the full story, but it seems somewhere between the migration between north carolina and tx, most likely in arkansas, the change was made. my ggg grandfather was daniel laurence in texas, but had spelled it with a "w" until he left arkansas. there must've been a falling out! please contact me if you have any further questions or anything to add
