John Wesley Levi b. 1812 in VA married Ann Guard (Geard) b. abt 1816 in Biggleswade England. They married in Ontario Canada. First child, Rachel Levi, born in 1836 in Ontario. Present day descendants are mostly fair-skinned African-Americans. Earliest photo of ancestors is of John's son, Thomas Edward Levi who was African-Canadian. Next photo is a grandson of John Wesley whose name was James Ebenezer Levi (also African-Canadian). Looking for any info on John Wesley Levi or Ann Guard prior to 1836. Will gladly share my tree with you.

Anything's possible. Transcription errors in Censuses and other public records are very common from one decade to the next. What kind of info do you have on the Leviases? My Levis are now in Michigan and Ontario. They got there by way of John Wesley Levi who was born around 1812 in Virgina. He emmigrated Guelph Ontario where he married Ann Guard from England. Would love to learn more about your folks. One of John and Ann's sons was Wesley who married Margaret Anderson (photo attached).

I finally got around to checking out your tree. Your Levias were in TX, NC, and MS when mine were in Ontario and Michigan. This doesn't mean there's no relation, but our most recent common ancestor is probably quite a bit further back (older) than that. Good luck searching.
