Hi Hank, I noticed your post and just had to respond. My Ggf was Morris L. Levin as listed on my Gfathers death certificate. Is your Jacob the brother to Morris? I have ended with my Gf Harry L. Levine, who died at 26 in Chicago and is buried there. Morris had a brother named Meyer or Mayer listed as merchants in WI. Was married twice to a Ray Esther & Tillie Kaplansky. They all were born in Telsam? Russia. Do you see any connection here? I know the Levins are spread all over the map, but a great deal of them were in NY and Chicago area. Must visit the grave of my GF in il. as I am curious if he is listed under Levine or Levin. And the prominent auburn hair as my grandfather had really caught my eye. Thanks, Donna
