I have 3 men by the name of Eli (Elie) in my family that I know of. My g.grand and grandfather's names were both Elie. Elie Liles was married to Susan Marie (last name I do no know) Elie Jr. married Hellon Pauline Bowdine. They had 4 children...Brenda, Gerald "Jerry" (my father), James "Jim", and Elie III "Buddy"
My father grew up in Grand Bay, AL not far from Mobile. I do knkow that Elie Jr. lives in IN now and so does James. Elie III still lives in AL, "Jerry" lives in MS, and Brenda was killed in a wreck this past summer.
