My Grgrandf.John McLeod married Louisa Beaton May 2 1873 in Clyne Sutherland. Then married Elizabeth Leys Mar. 26 1889 Ross & Cromarty
John McLeod b.1848 Kildonan Sutherland
His parents Donald McLeod & Esther McKay
Louisa Beaton b. 1854 Helmsdale, Sutherland. D. July29 1886 Fortrose.
Her parents Archibald & Ellen or Helen Beaton
Children of John & Louisa -Esther, Robert,Roselina?, Louisa and Johann Donaldina(my grandmother).
Elizabeth Leys (nee Alexander) born abt 1850 Fortrose
from her first marriage she had children Catherine & William
John and Elizabeth had 1 child together John born abt 1890.
Any info on any of these persons would be appreciated.
