I know this is a shot in the dark but I have to try.
I am doing some research for my mother who just turned 80 and she is not well. She has cancer and wants to find family that still might have some info on her mother's Patz family. Her family started with her great grandfather Franz Patz and her great grandmother Maria Anna Wendl and as I have no dates on them at all but assuming from the birthdate of her grandfather Anton Patz born 27 May 1853 his parents would have been born about 1820 or so.
Children of Franz and Maria Anna [Wendl] are:
1. Lisa Patz
2. Theresa Patz
3. Anton Patz b: 27 May 1853 in Kurschin [Koren], County Tepal, Bohemia, m: Anna Dishler b: 08 January 1862 in Wilkischen, (CZ Vlkys) Bohemia. Both died in Port Clinton, Ohio and are burried there. They are my great grandparents.
4. Josef Patz b: abt 1871.
From what I have learned from some old letters is that Anton and his father Franz and Franz's father used to be brick layers and traveled into Germany in the summer in search of work.
Does anyone have this family below? I found this information on Heritage Quest from a link that is no longer available to the public from the Fremont Library in Indiana. Now I can't read the book this info was in but did type the info below into my word processor.

November 23, 1756. She was a daughter of Anton Patz, born 1701 and his wife Anna.
Johann Franz Prokop Miksch was a son of Franz Miksch, born 1683, and his second wife, Veronica, born 1701, widow of Gottfried Hering, whom he married May 2, 1730. The
Children of Johann Franz Prokop Miksch (Muksch) and Marie Elisabeth, nee Patz were:
1. Johann Franz Miksch, born Dec. 3, 1761.
2. Anna Maria Miksch, born Feb. 25, 1764, Married Feb. 6, 1764 to Frantz Karl Kampe who was born Aug. 1, 1765.
3. Joseph Thomas Miksch, born Dec. 16, 1766.
4. Anna Miksch, born July 22, 1772.

Father of Maria Elisabeth Patz (Potz):
Anton Patz (Potz), born 1701 and died before 1771; was a Burgormaster of Hirschberg and a black-dyer by trade. His children were:
1. Maria Elisabeth Patz (Potz) born Oct. 20, 1730.
2. Johan Gabriel Patz (Potz) born 1733
3. Frantz Anton Patz (Potz) born 1742
4. Theresa Ludmila Patz (Potz) born 1748
5. Johann Wentzel Patz (Potz) born 1751.
