Looking for relations to James Murphy, of Ballinvoultig, Ballinora Parish, near Innishannon, just south of Cork City.
James married Julia Sullivan around 1844. They had at least seven children: Mary (1845), Margaret (1846), Edward (1847), John (1848), Patrick (1849), Kate, and my great-grandfather, James (1856 - 1929). James married Julia Hallinan of Coolculitha, Innishannon Parish in 1877 in Ballyheada Chapel in the Ballinhassig Parish. They had seven children, including my grandfather, Patrick J. Murphy, who went on to lead the Ballygarvan unit of the Old IRA during the Troubled Times. Thier farm was where Cork Airport is now situated.
I have a lot more info that I can share if anybody can connect. Please remember, my Murphy's were all from the Innishannon, Ballinhassig, Ballinora area. That is just south of Cork City going towards west Cork.
