I am a Michigan Nowland whose gggrandparents came into NY through Canada from County Carlow Ireland although they were from county Antrim I believe. They settled in Helena NY along the seaway. There are lots of Johns in the family history. Also I have a cousin in AA.named Grambeau. If you need more I have lots of family tree info
