Ollerton family of Standish and Sunderland

My partner's father was Walter Ollerton, b. 1879, Standish. He married Hannah Wardropper in 1909 in Sunderland.
Walter's parents were John (b.1849) and Esther Dickinson (b.1854?). I can't find John and Esther's marriage - can anyone help?
John's parents were Thomas (b.1829) and Mary (surname unknown). Thomas is the eldest son of John Ollerton and Jane Liptrot of Talbot House Farm, Worthington, Standish. The family are farmers and then miners.

In Seth Ollerton's household, there is listed a John Dale age 3 in the 1880 Utah census. Notation says that John Dale is a nephew. To whom is he the nephew - Seth or his wife? Does anyone know anything about John Dale?
