I've noticed many people from Northern Europe-especially Sweden, Norway and such-with the given name Per. I'm interested in the use of Per as a Surname. My GG grandmother's maiden name was Per and she was from Eastern Europe. Please Help. Any information on the name when used in Eastern Europe will be very helpfeul. Thanks
