I don't know if you're still around on these boards. I hope that you are. We corresponded a couple of years ago about Samuel Phillips (m1. Betsy Pixly and m2. Mary McCollum) being a son of Ezra Phillips and Rachel Adams. You can read the rest of this thread if you need to refresh your memory.

I have FINALLY received copies of the actual hand-written pages from the Ezra Phillips bible entitled "The Genealogy of the Phillips Family", beginning with Ezra Phillips and Rachel Adams. If you like, I will be happy to send you hard copies or scanned copies of the pages. The genealogy pages seem to have been written by one of Samuel's children - I don't know which. But, the bible was passed down from George Phillips to his daughter, Mary Ella Phillips, who married Alfred Day. The actual bible currently is the possession of my uncle, Arthur Day.

The pages of which I speak clearly show that Samuel Phillips (b. 1780), who married Bestsy Pixly and Mary McCollum, was the son of Ezra Phillips (b. 1756 ENG) and Rachel Adams. The other children are all listed there, as well: Seth, Ruth, Jack, Hulda, Charles, Betsy, Daniel, Hannah, and Rachel. There are other pages that show all of the marriages and some of Ezra's great-grandchildren.

Your ancestor, Laura, is listed on one of the pages with her husband, George Fairchild, and three of her children: Thomas, Samuel, and Charles (Egbert, Albert, and Mary are not mentioned).
