Polly, aged 73 ys. He has left a widow, eleven children, forty-eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren to lament the loss of a kind husband and an affectionate parent.

Moravia. Thirty years ago he went to Cortland and has resided there ever since. For many years he was an engineer with the
Wickwire Brothers Wire
Mills.
The only surviving relatives are two nieces, Mrs. M. S. Wright and Mrs. C. V. Wright of Cortland, and one nephew, William
Polly of Auburn. Mr. Polly was a member of the Cortlandville
Lodge F. and A. M.
Funeral services were held Tuesday ........ at the residence of Herman

Unfortunately, I don't have the name of the newspaper this appeared in nor the date. From another story that referred to someone's son enlisting in the war and awaiting orders for France, I would guess it is from 1917-1918.
I have no further information on the above people. However, if you recognize any of them, would you please let me know as I am interested in NY Polley/Polly families. Thanks.
