This responds to two messages posted by Melba Holland at this site in 2000, which I found only today. I am the great grandson of Paulina Potthast (1850-1930) sister of Frederick. The two immigrated from Patroborn, Westphalia, with their mother, Dorothea, in c1853/1854. I would be delighted to exchange information with Melba (or others) about this family.
