Has any one information about Prendergasts in Galway in the nineteenth century. There are very few Prendergasts in Australia whose ancestors came from Galway. My ancestor is Henry Prendergast (his wife was Mary Costello) and he gave his address as Tuam, Galway. He arrived in South Australia in 1852. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has ancestors In Galway
